Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By the instant writ petition, petitioners seek the following relief:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to fix stone pillars and specifically demarcate Plot No. 170 which has been duly surveyed and measured as per order of respondent no. 1 dated 1.9.2008 annexed as Annexure No. to this writ petition."
Pursuant to order dated 19 February 2021 passed by this Court, the learned Standing Counsel on instruction received from the office of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Saidpur, District Ghazipur, submits that demarcation on the spot was carried out, the stones were fixed and possession to the respective parties in respect of plot no. 170 ad-measuring 0.4690 hectares has been granted on 17 March 2021.
In view thereof, cause no longer survives.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
