Challenge in the present petition is to the award dated April 22, 2016 claiming that the proper amount of compensation, as was due to the petitioners, was not paid.
Considering the fact that present petition has been filed more than five years after the award was announced by the Land Acquisition Officer, the petition deserves to be dismissed on account of delay and laches only.
