Shri M.C. Chaturvedi, Senior Advocate assisted by Shri S. C. Dwivedi, learned counsel for the respondents is present. However, none is present for the petitioner.

By means of this writ petition petition, the petitioner is seeking following reliefs:

"(i) Issue, a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to Respondent no.2 District Magistrate, Budaun to decide the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2021 as contained (Annexure No.5) to the writ petition, pending before him within stipulated period.

(ii) Issue, a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to Respondent No.2 District Magistrate, Budaun not to award any compensation to the respondent No.4 without deciding the aforesaid representation pending since 15.03.2021 in the interest of justice."

Learned counsel for the State submits that representation would be decided as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 12 weeks from today not later on.

In such view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of this writ petition finally, with a direction to the Respondent No.2, District Magistrate, Budaun to decide the representation of the petitioner pending before him, as expeditiously, as possible within 12 weeks from today, if there is no legal impediment.

Petitioner is obliged to furnish a copy of this order before the authority concerned.
