Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the application of the petitioner dated 8.7.2008 (Hori Lal and Others vs. Kade Ram and Others), under Section 28 of Land Revenue Act was not being disposed of. Prayer has been made that a direction be issued that the application be decided within a stipulated period of time.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is, therefore, directed that the respondent No.2, Collector, Pilibhit, District Pilibhit will decide the Application dated 8.7.2008 within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order which shall be duly certified by the counsel for the petitioner.
With these observations the writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
