Matter is taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter-alia with the prayer to quash the impugned notice dated 30.01.2021 passed by respondent no.2 by suspending the Arms License No.5227/Farrukhabad of S.B.B.L. Gun 12 Bore No. 8828, of the petitioner, under section 17(3) of Arms Act, Police Station Kotwali, District Farrukhabad.

It appears from perusal of the aforesaid notice that petitioner was directed to submit its reply. It further reveals from perusal of the record that the detailed reply to the aforesaid show cause notice has already been submitted by the petitioner on 22.02.2021, copy of which is appended as Annexure-6 to the writ petition.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

With the consent of counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of finally directing the respondent no. 2/District Magistrate, Farrukhabad to pass appropriate order in the matter after considering the reply submitted by the petitioner, most expeditiously and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of presentation of copy of this order.
