The application of the petitioner for caste certificate is said to be pending with the Tehsildar, Tehsil, Bijnor. It appears that petitioner has also made a representation to the District Magistrate, Bijnor in that regard.
As District Magistrate, Bijnor would be the Appellate Authority, we deem it appropriate to dispose off this petition by requiring the 4th respondent-Tehsildar, Tehsil, Bijnor to take appropriate decision on pending application of the petitioner, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of production of copy of this order alongwith the copy of pending application.
It is made clear that if the application of the petitioner has already been disposed off by the Tehsildar, Tehsil, Binjor then it would be substantial compliance of this order if information in that regard is provided to the petitioner.
The petition stands disposed off.
