By the instant petition, petitioners seek the following relief:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondent no. 1 to decide the Revision under Section 48(1) of Consolidation of Holding Act, pending before the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Etawah, which is numbered as Revision No. 37/320 of 2017 (Mahesh Chandra and others vs. Smt. Ragini Dixit and others) (Annexure No. 4 to this writ petition) within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
On perusal of the pleadings and material placed on record, this Court does not find any reason to expedite the revision.
In view thereof, writ petition is dismissed. However, it is provided that in the event of the petitioners making an application to expedite the revision pending before the competent court, it is expected that the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Etawah, shall consider and decide the petitioners' application, in accordance with law.
