Sri Santosh Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioners contends that because of the perpetual submergence of the lands caused by the flooding river, the boundaries of the villages in question keep shifting.
These facts are inconsistent with the representation of the petitioners appended to the writ petition.
Moreover, since the consolidation operations have just commenced, there is no reason to believe that the authorities shall not redress the legitimate grievances of the petitioners or they will not conduct the proceedings with due diligence. The writ petition is premature.
The writ petition is dismissed.
It is open to the petitioners to raise their grievances before the competent authority.
