The admitted facts of the matter are that the petitioner is presently working on the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector in C.R.P.F 87 Battalion at Imphal. The grievance of the petitioner is in relation to the promotion to the post of Assistant SubInspector made in the year 2013 by the Commandant 26 Battalion while he was posted in Jharkhand. The contention of the petitioner is that the relaxation of two years granted to other similarly situated persons had not been accorded to him while making promotion in the year 2013.
The present writ petition is being filed before this Court with the assertion that at one point of time when the petitioner raised grievances with regard to the promotion made in the year 2013, he was posted in CRPF 95 Battalion at Varanasi.
From the above facts, it is evident that no cause of action or even no part of cause of action does lie in the State of U.P. The present writ petition is, thus, not maintainable.
It is, however, open for the petitioner to move an appropriate writ petition before appropriate Court.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed .
