Solitary grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the death cum retirement gratuity arising upon untimely death of the petitioner's husband on 03.10.2016 has not been paid to her. She further claims interest @ 8% p.a. on that amount.
Learned Standing Counsel has accepted notice on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2.
Sri Sanjay Chaturvedi, learned counsel appears on behalf of respondent nos.3, 4 and 5.
Inasmuch as payment of gratuity is a statutory obligation on respondent no.4, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending or calling for a counter affidavit, at this stage.
The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.4 to compute the correct amount of the gratuity due to the petitioner and to release the same together with statutory interest within three months from today.
