This writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief :
i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 24.03.2021, passed by respondent no.3 in Case No.724 of 2020 (State Vs. Sunil) Under Section 3(1) Uttar Pradesh Control Goondas Act, 1970, Police Station - Akeetmal, District - Auraiya.
Sri Patanjali Misra, learned A.G.A. states on instruction that the appeal filed by petitioner before the Commissioner, Kanpur Division, has been decided on 07.07.2021 and, thus, the writ petition has become infructuous.
A copy of the order of Commissioner, Kanpur Division in Appeal No.1018/2021 (Sunil Kumar Vs. State) under Section 6 of the U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, has been given by the learned A.G.A. to the learned counsel for the petitioner in Court.
In view of the aforesaid, writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
