Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to quash the entire proceedings in Case No. 1154/9 of 2017 (State Vs. Narendra and Others) arising out of Chargesheet dated 8.03.2017 submitted in Case Crime No. 819 of 2016, under Section 147, 452, 323 I.P.C., Police Station Kairana, District Shamli as well as order dated 03.11.2020 passed by learned C.J.M., Shamli on Application filed for compromise, on the basis of compromise deed.

At page no. 67-72 of the application (file), it has been mentioned that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and they have settled their dispute amicably and does not want to proceed with the case and now dispute is stated to have been settled between the parties.

In view of the law laid down upon Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and Another (2012) 10 SCC 303 , this being a dispute between the two sides, which is of private nature, the proceedings of the aforesaid case deserve to be quashed as no useful purpose would be served in keeping the proceeding pending, there being no possibility of conviction.

Ordered accordingly.

The entire proceedings in Case No. 1154/9 of 2017 (State Vs. Narendra and Others) arising out of Charge-sheet dated 8.03.2017 submitted in Case Crime No. 819 of 2016, under Section 147, 452, 323 I.P.C., Police Station Kairana, District Shamli as well as order dated 03.11.2020 passed by learned C.J.M., Shamli stands quashed.

In the result, the instant application stands allowed.
