Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

This petition has been filed praying for following relief:-

"(i) To issue a order or direction under supervisory jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court setting asaide the order dated 6.10.2017 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Kasganj in Criminal Revision No. 83 of 2016 ( Gurumeet Singh vs. Smt. Manjeet Kaur and others) and order dated 16.11.2016 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kasganj in Criminal Case No. 1015 of 2016 which was further numbered as Case No. 104 of 2017 (State vs. Gurumeet Singh and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 397 of 2012 U/s 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C. Police Station Sahawar, District Kasganj.

(ii) To issue further direction to stay the further proceeding of the criminal case No. 1015 of 2016 which was further numbered as Case No. 104 of 2017 (State vs. Gurumeet Singh and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 397 of 2012 U/s 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C. Police Station Sahawar, District Kasganj during pendency of the present petition before this Hon'ble Court."

After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he does not want to press other prayers made in the prayer clause and has only made a prayer for expeditious disposal of his bail application in view of law laid down in the case of Amrawati and another Vs. State of U.P. reported in 2004 (57) ALR 290 as well as judgement passed by Hon'ble Apex Court reported in 2009 (3) ADJ 322 (SC) Lal Kamlendra Pratap Singh Vs. State of U.P.

Considering the prayer of the petitioner and in view of the entire facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that if the petitioner appears and surrenders before the court below within two weeks from today and applies for bail, his prayer for bail shall be considered and decided as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.

For a period of two weeks from today or till the petitioner surrenders and applies for bail, whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken against him. However, in case, the petitioner does not appear before the Court below within the

aforesaid period, coercive action shall be taken against him.

With the aforesaid directions, this petition is finally disposed of.
