The prayer in this petition is to direct the third respondent (Chief Medical Officer, Ballia) to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner for registration of his Ultra Diagnostic Centre near G.I.C. at Nagar Palika Shop No.14, Hospital Road, Ballia.
The case of the petitioner is that his prayer for registration of the Diagnostic Centre has been made as per the norms, annexing therewith all the relevant documents, but no decision, as yet, has been taken.
Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that this petition can be disposed off by requiring the third respondent to take an appropriate decision in the matter within a specified period after calling for necessary report.
Considering the nature of the relief sought, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, we deem it appropriate to dispose off this petition by requiring the third respondent (Chief Medical Officer, Ballia) to take a decision on the application of the petitioner for registration of his Diagnostic Centre in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date a copy of this order is furnished in his office.
The petition stands disposed off .
