This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:-
"1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the District Officer / District Magistrate, Fatehpur, respondent no. 3 to forthwith constitute a technical committee for re-assessment / reestimation of the quantity of sand in Yamuna Khand No. O-4, Gata No. 121 to 124 and Gata No. 135 to 153 (total area 35.63 hectares) situated in village-Oti, Tehsil and District-Fatehpur as per directions dated 26.12.2019 and 31.12.2019 issued by Director, respondent no. 2 and Principal Secretary, respondent no. 1 (Annexure no. 6 and 7) and conclude the said proceedings expeditiously.
Having gone through the averments made in the writ petition and the documents appended thereto, we find that for the redressal of the grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition, he has already filed a representation before respondent no. 2 on 10.12.2019, copy whereof has been filed as Annexure 5 to the writ petition. It appears that the petitioner has approached this Court without waiting for respondent no. 2 to take any decision on the representation.
We accordingly dispose of the writ petition without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, with the direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the representation filed by the petitioner before him on on 10.12.2019, copy whereof has been filed as Annexure 5 to the writ petition, strictly in accordance with law, by a speaking and reasoned order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of certified copy of this order before him.
