The order impugned categorically records that the land offered by the petitioner was not in the subject location i.e. Village Dhanakpur, Tehsil Karhal, District Mainpuri advertised on 25.11.2018 for establishment of Rural Retail Outlet dealership by the Indian Oil Corporation under OBC category.
The order impugned categorically records that the clarification with regard to the subject location has been given in the selection brochure at point 1 and sub-point (ii), which read as follows:
"Locations for setting up retails outlets are identified by the respective oil company based on commercial/minimum volume considerations. Accordingly Regular and Rural outlets are set by Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) as under:
"Rural ROs: Locations in rural areas but not on Highways (NH/SH etc.) and outside Municipal limits of a Town."
It is an admitted fact of the matter that the land offered by the petitioner is located on a State Highway and, therefore, does not fit in the subject location advertised on 25.11.2018 for the dealership in question.
We, therefore, do not find any good reason to entertain the writ petition. This petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
