The record reveals that after an order was passed on 15.1.2020 in proceedings under section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 in favour of the petitioner, the respondent no.3 filed an appeal under section 24(4) of the Code. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that because of the pendency of the appeal, the initial order was not being put into implementation. A prayer has, therefore, been made that the appeal may be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid appeal.
It is, therefore, directed that the Appeal No.C202012000000104 (Budh Pal Singh vs. Sadawati & Ors.) under section 24(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 be decided within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
