Petitioner is a duly registered society under the provisions of the Societies Registration Act, 1860, which intends to establish a degree college to be affiliated to respondent no. 2 University. It is alleged that land has been purchased for establishing the degree college, but the University is yet to issue a no objection certificate to the petitioner. It is stated that non issuance of no objection certificate is delaying the process for establishment of the degree college.
Sri Gagan Mehta, learned counsel for the learned counsel for the University states that an appropriate decision would be taken in accordance with law.
In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 3 to accord consideration to the petitioner's claim in respect of issuance of no objection certificate, noticed above, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned order to be passed, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
