Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
The sole claim which is raised in this petition is for the payment of salary since July 2019.
According to the petitioner she was appointed as a Clerk on 03 May 2017 on daily wages and has been continually working since then. According to the petitioner her salary and other emoluments have not been released since July 2019.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of with a direction that the second respondent shall duly attend to the claim of the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order in respect thereof within a period of three weeks from the date of filing a representation alongwith a certified copy of this order. In case any sums are found to be payable, that shall also be released within the same period.
All contentions of respective parties on merits are kept open.
