Following orders were passed in the matter on 17.3.2020:-
"The writ petition is reported to be beyond time by 2102 days. There is no explanation for the delay and latches in filing the writ petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is granted a week's time to file supplementary affidavit explaining the delay and latches in filing the writ petition.
Put up as fresh on 19.03.2020 before appropriate Bench.
The matter shall not be treated as tied up or part heard to this Bench."
Today also when the matter is taken up, neither any explanation has been put forth for inordinate delay in filing of the petition, nor anyone has appeared for the petitioners even in the revised list.
