Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Standing Counsel.
The applicant is before this Court for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for disobeying the order dated 13.12.2019 passed in Writ Petition No.41035 of 2019 (Babu Nandan vs. S.D.M. and 3 Others).
On the matter being taken up today, affidavit of compliance dated 09.07.2020 have been pressed by learned Standing Counsel. He submits that necessary steps have been taken for honouring the writ court order.
The Court has proceeded to peruse the record in question and finds that substantial compliance has been ensured in the matter and as such, no interference is required in the matter.
In view of the above, nothing further survives in the contempt application and the same stands disposed of . Notices, if any, stand discharged. However, it is always open for the applicant to agitate his claim before the appropriate forum/court.
