Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Standing Counsel.
The applicant is before this Court for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for disobeying the order dated 24.04.2019 passed in Writ Petition No.23458 of 2005 (Bharat vs. Additional Commissioner and others).
On the matter being taken up today, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has placed an affidavit of compliance and submits that necessary steps have been taken for honouring the writ court order.
Learned counsel for the applicant has given nod to the said situation.
In view of the above, nothing further survives in the contempt application and the same stands disposed of . Notices, if any, stand discharged. The aforesaid affidavit may be filed in the Registry of this Court within 48 hours.
