Gangsters & Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act 1986, S.3(1): The Allahabad High Court (Gautam Chowdhary, J.), by order dated 01-12-2020 in CRL.M.B.A. No. 42072 of 2020, allowed the bail application of Jai Prakash Singh @ Prakash Singh, an undertrial prisoner in Case Crime No. 478 of 2019 under Section 3(1) of the U.P. Gangsters & Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act 1986, Police Station Rohaniya, District Varanasi, stated to be in custody since 25-06-2019. Counsel contended that the applicant was falsely implicated, was neither leader nor member of any gang, and was already on bail in the cases shown against him in the gang chart.
