Submission of learned counsel for the applicants is that the son of the applicants got married with the deceased about three years back and the couple was blessed with a daughter. There was constant quarrel between the husband and the wife. From the F.I.R. itself it is clear that there is demand of motorcycle and a golden chain. This is not disputed there the applicants are elderly persons and are aged about 65 and 70 years. Submission of counsel is that keeping in view the constant domestic quarrel between the husband and wife, the applicants have maintained a distance from his son and daughter-in-law. The deceased has committed suicide by hanging herself and the cause of death, according to the doctor, is asphyxia as a result of ante mortem hanging. There is no dying declaration or suicide note left by the deceased. There is no recovery of any incriminating material from the possession of the applicants. Contention is that by no stretch of imagination the applicants, being motherin-law and father-in-law, who are elderly persons, could be said to be the beneficiary of motorcycle which was additionally demanded. Husband is still in jail. The applicants are in jail since 24.6.2020 having no likelihood of early conclusion of trial.
