Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that on 21.8.2017 first information report was lodged against the applicant, Rahul and coaccused, Vinod through an application under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C. making allegation that they had promised the informant to provide him Government land on cheap rate and had also shown some land to him. Thereafter, they have entered into a deal with regard to Gata No. 1356 area 1.728 hectare that the said land would be sold to the informant for a sum of Rs. 1,15,00,000/-(rupees one crore fifteen lacs only) and an amount of Rs. 94,95,000/-(rupees ninety four lacs ninety five thousand only) is said to have been paid to the informant in piece meal in cash before some other persons. It is next submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that the co-accused, namely, Vinod Kumar is the father of the applicant, who has been granted anticipatory bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 17.3.2020 passed in Criminal Misc. Anticipatory Bail Application Under Section 438 Cr.P.C. No. 2416 of 2020, therefore, applicant is also entitled for same protection. The applicant has no criminal history to his credit.
