Heard Sri Ram Pratap Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Girish Vishwakarma, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
By means of the present petition, a direction is sought to respondent no.3/Up Ziladhikari, Tehsil Mehnagar, District Azamgarh to decide the application dated 06.09.2018 filed under Section 101 of the UP Revenue Code, 2006 which is said to be pending.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would appear before the court below in the pending matter and would not seek any unnecessary adjournment, and a direction may be issued for the pending matter to be decided within a reasonable time period.
The learned Standing Counsel has no objection to an early disposal of the application which is pending before the court below.
With the consent of the parties the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that in case the petitioner appears before the court below and does not seek any unnecessary adjournment it is expected that the court below would make an endeavour to conclude the pending proceedings in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
