Heard Sri Harish Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Sukanya Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 and Sri Tariq Maqbool Khan, learned counsel for the respondent no. 3.
By means of the present petition, the petitioner has sought a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the revision under Section 333 of the U.P.Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950, Case No. C201805000000016 (Vinod Vs. Radheshyam) within a stipulated period.
Placing reliance on the order-sheet of the case, it has been submitted that on 8.3.2018, the revision was admitted for hearing and notices were issued to the parties and thereafter although several dates have been fixed but the matter remains pending. Accordingly, a prayer has been made for an early disposal of pending revision.
Learned Standing Counsel and counsel appearing for the Gaon Sabha have no objection to the prayer so made.
With the consent of the parties the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that in case the petitioner appears before the court concerned and does not seek any unnecessary adjournment it is expected that the court below would make an endeavour to conclude the proceedings expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
