Heard Sri Nikhil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.

For establishing a veterinary college, petitioners' land, being Plot No. 278, 2785 and 2787 situate at Village- Gambhirvan, Tehsil- Sadar, District- Azamgarh was acquired by the respondent no. 4 by executing sale deeds between the petitioners and respondent no. 3.

The grievance of the petitioners is that although the sale deeds are of the year 2016 and possession has also been handed over to the respondents but till date sale consideration has not been given to the petitioners in spite of various letters and representations to the authorities. This fact is also reflected from the letter dated 15th February, 2019 (Annexure-2 to the writ petition) written by the respondent no.3.

In our view no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending, as a direction is being issued to the respondent no. 4 that in case sale deeds have been executed by the petitioners in their favour, the sale consideration be paid immediately to the petitioners in accordance with law, as far as possible within one month from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before him.

In case there is some other legal impediment or for any other valid reason for non-payment of sale consideration, then the respondent may pass an order to this effect, as to why the petitioners are not entitled for sale consideration in spite of executing the sale deeds in favour of the respondents, within the same time.

With the aforesaid observation/direction the present writ petition is disposed of.
