Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
The petitioner submits that he was covered by the Mukhya Mantri Kisan Evam Sarvhit Beema Yojna. The petitioner unfortunately died in an accident on 02.12.2017.
The petitioner claims insured amount but the Insurance Company has rejected the same holding that the petitioner's age as mentioned in her documentation is 72 years whereas in the post mortem, the age of the petitioner is shown as 54 years.
Under the scheme, there appears to be a Redressal Forum provided which is a District Level Committee headed by District Magistrate where such issues can be redressed.
In case, the petitioner moves an application before the District Magistrate, respondent no. 3, the claim of the petitioner be considered and appropriate orders be passed in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
