Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondent.
The present petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 3, Upper Sachiv, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Prayagraj, to produce the answer book of the petitioner pertaining the subjects physics and chemistry for the Intermediate examination 2019-20.
It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner applied for scrutiny, in which marks of the petitioner secured int he physics and chemistry remain unchanged. Subsequently he filed an application on 08.05.2019 for seeing the copy under the Right of Information Act along with postal order of Rs. 10/- but till date the copies have not been supplied to the petitioner for the purposes of seeking the same.
Under the above circumstances, a direction is issued to the respondent no. 3 to decide the Upper Sachiv, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Prayagraj to decide the petitioner's application for production of copies in question, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order before it. It is made clear that the petitioner shall deposit requisite fee for seeking copy under the RTI Act within the aforesaid period.
The present petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
