Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned standing counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been preferred for a direction upon the 5th respondent to produce the result of the live telecast of e-lottery dated 12.12.2018.

The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking following relief:-

"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.5 to produce the result of live telecast of e-lottery dated 12.12.2018 of the petitioners in respect of selection for granting the wood based industry of new Saw Mill Machine License."

The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents have not followed the procedure laid down under the Uttar Pradesh Establishment and Regulation of Saw Mills (6th Amendment) Rules, 2018. The petitioner was one of the applicant pursuant to a notice issued by the respondents for grant of new license. Learned counsel for the petitioners has pointed out several irregularities in the process.

We have asked the learned standing counsel to produce the compact disk for grant of the contract by e-lottery system. We have seen the compact disk in presence of the learned counsel for the parties on 7.3.2019 in our Chambers. We do not find any irregularity which has been mentioned in the writ petition.
