To have an appropriate writ order or direction for respondent No.2 to pass an appropriate order on the application preferred by the petitioner for grant of Character Certificate, instant petition for writ is preferred.
It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the application was submitted on 16.12.2017 but no decision thereon has been taken by the authority competent so far.
Having considered the facts, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the District Magistrate, Chandauli (respondent No.2) to consider and decide the application dated 16.8.2017, expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month from the date the petitioner present certified copy of this order before him.
