The petitioner is challenging order dated 13.9.2019 passed by the Executive Engineer wherein demand of Rs. 2,97,586/- has been raised against him for using electricity unauthorizedly.
The aforesaid order is an order of final assessment of the dues and is appellable under Section 127 of the U.P. Electricity Act, 2003.
In view of the alternative remedy of appeal, we do not deem it necessary to exercise our discretionary jurisdiction in the matter and the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternate remedy.
