Heard Sri Sharad Saran Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 2,3 & 4, Dr. D.K.Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent no. 1 and perused the record.

By means of this writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for seeking change of electricity connection from Rural to Urban and in this regard, petitioner has already made a representation/application dated 2nd August, 2019, copy whereof has been filed Annexure-4 to the writ petition.

The argument advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that though the report had been summoned on the said application of the petitioner but till date no order has been passed.

Per contra, the argument advanced by learned counsel for the respondents is that as per the instructions received by him, copy whereof has been placed before this Court and taken on record, the electricity connection of the petitioner already stands connected as per the order of the forum.

He further submits that so far as consideration of change of tariff charge and type of connection from Rural to Urban, the grievance of the petitioner is being looked into by the competent authority and appropriate order will be passed strictly in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
