Although the application stated to have been made for grant of an arm licence has not been brought on the record, in paragraph-5 however the file number pertaining to the application has been mentioned.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent states that subject to verification of all facts, the application as made by the petitioner for grant of an arm license shall be duly evaluated and disposed of in accordance with law and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly and without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
