Heard the petitioner in person, Sri Devendra Kumar Shukla, learned counsel for respondent no.4 and Sri R.B. Singh, learned counsel for respondent no.3.

The petitioner a sports person, who participated in various shooting competitions has preferred this petition for writ to have an appropriate writ, order or direction to set up an inquiry against respondent no.3 who is alleged to be involved in unauthorized use of sports "ammunition" for personal gains instead of using the same for the sports purposes.

The petitioner before approaching this Court submitted several representations to different authorities related with the sports of "shooting" but of no consequence. According to the petitioner, he approached the President, Uttar Pradesh State Rifle Assoication, Director, Directorate of Sports, Government of India, New Delhi, Secretary of Sports, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi but no one has responded to his genuine grievance.

It is asserted that the respondent no.3 is availing sports goods including "ammunition" at subsidized rate but is supplying the same to his brother and that is nothing but misuse of his office.

Having considered all facts of the case, we are not inclined to interfere in the matter but expect that the Director General of Sports Authority of India will look into the matter and take appropriate steps, if required.

With the observations as above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
