Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition has been preferred by the petitioners who are posted in different districts for consideration of their representations in respect of the orders of transfer that have been made. The submission which is addressed is that since all the petitioners have less than two years left to retire, they may be posted at their home district in accordance with the government policy which applies.
Bearing in mind the nature of the submissions which are advanced, this petition shall stand disposed of only with the observation that it shall be open to the individual petitioners to approach the competent authority in this respect alongwith a representation for consideration of their prayer for modification of the order of transfer.
In case such representations are made, they may be attended to and disposed of with expedition.
