Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.C. Upadhyay, the learned Brief Holder for the State respondents.
This petition has been preferred impugning an order dated 17 July 2018 in terms of which an official accommodation which had been allotted to the petitioner on 9 April 2018 came to be cancelled. Learned Standing Counsel has placed on the record instructions, which for the purposes of identification are marked as "X".
From the disclosures made therein it appears that one employee who was senior to the petitioner had raised objections to the allotment made in favour of the petitioner while ignoring his claim. It is on taking into consideration the said complaint and the right of the said employee for allotment of official accommodation prior to the petitioner that the impugned order has come to be passed.
On being faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer of the petitioner for allotment of some other alternate official accommodation may be attended to. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent stated that the claim of the petitioner for allotment of an alternate accommodation shall be duly attended to and disposed of with expedition.
The writ petition consequently stands disposed of in light of the above statement.
