This petition for writ is preferred with prayers as under:-

(a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities to pass an order to settle the boundary disputes of the adjacent villages situate at the boundary of the district Muzzafar Nagar and district Bijnor.

(b) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to decide the representation dated 21.8.2018 filed by the petitioner on behalf of the villagers of district Muzzafar Nagar, which is pending before the respondent authorities.

The submission of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the boundary dispute between various villages of District Muzzafar Nagar and District Bijnor is pending consideration from last several years but no decision has yet been arrived and that is causing huge problems to the residents of the area concerned.

It is brought to our notice that certain services were made but of no consequence.

Having considered all the facts stated above, we deem it fit to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Department of Revenue to enquire into the matter and to decide the boundary dispute between the districts, expeditiously, as far as possible, on or before June 30th, 2019. The Secretary while examining the entire issue shall call upon and heard the Administrative representatives of both the districts.
