This Court on 20.3.2018 had taken cognizance in the matter for restoring the pond to its original status, which is recorded in plot no.453.
A counter affidavit has been filed by respondent no.4, i.e., Tehsildar, Atarra, District Banda. In paragraph 7 of the counter affidavit, it is stated that the pond has been brought to its original shape and the entire work had been completed. Counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ashok Gupta, does not dispute the said fact.
In view of the above, the Public Interest Litigation has become infructuous.
It is, accordingly, dismissed as having become infructuous.
