None appears on behalf of the petitioners.
Perusal of the record shows that vide order dated 24.08.2018, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre. The relevant portion of the said order reads as under:
''It is directed that petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs. 20,000/- within two weeks from today with the Mediation Centre of which Rs. 19,000/- shall be paid to the opposite party no. 3 for her appearance before the Mediation Centre.
The matter is remitted to the Mediation Centre with the direction that the Mediation Centre shall conclude the mediation and conciliation proceedings expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months after giving notices to both the parties.
Thereafter the case shall be listed before appropriate Bench.
Till the next date of listing, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioners in case crime no. 128 of 2018, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 377, 313, 376, 511, 354(B), 307 IPC and section 3/4 D.P. Act., P.S. Blainee, District Baghpat.
After depositing the amount, aforesaid, notice shall be issued to the parties and in case the aforesaid amount is not deposited within the aforesaid period, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically.''
A report dated 06.10.2018 has been received which is that of Deputy Registrar (In-Charge), perusal of which shows that the amount as required to be deposited by the petitioners has not been deposited.
In view of the said report and in view of observation as made in the aforesaid order no further adjudication is required. Even otherwise, learned counsel for the petitioners is not present.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
