The allegations in the impugned FIR are: that the informant Priya Rai, a resident of Ballia, had pursued her education from Varanasi; that in 2015 she had contested College Student Union's election; that during those days she came in contact with the accused-petitioner; that they exchanged their mobile numbers and used to have conversations; that during this period the accused had been always trying to meet the informant; that on 7th March 2018 the accused called the informant to his Varanasi flat (the details of which are provided in the FIR) to meet his wife; that when she reached there she found a person, probably an employee of the accused, who took her to the flat and made her sit there; that as it was getting late in the evening, she called the accused, upon which, he messaged that he has already reached the place with his wife and would be coming shortly so she should wait; that soon thereafter the accused arrived at about 10 pm with few gunmen who sat outside; that, thereafter, the accused took her to a room where she was sexually assaulted; that the room appeared to be wired with CCTV and taking advantage of video capture of the incident, under threat of making it viral, as also by proclaiming that he is a Bahubali (Gangster) and an associate of local MLA and would exterminate her family, kept exploiting her physically as well as mentally; that being frustrated with her life, she disclosed her predicament in her face book page and cried for help but to no avail; however, when her post got viral, the accused, who is now a candidate in the election, is either threatening her or alluring her with promise of a decent settlement through Whats App messages.
