In compliance of previous order of this Court dated 10.07.2019 opposite party no. 1 is present in the Court. In respect of opposite party no. 2, Shri Niraj Upadhyay, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, prays for exemption inasmuch as he is stated to have returned from official foreign trip only yesterday.
In the affidavit filed by opposite party no. 1, it is stated that entire amount of Rs.19,87,005/- has been sanctioned by order dated 30.07.2019 for payment to the applicant-petitioner towards arrears of salary etc. under the order of writ Court. It is also stated in para 7 of the affidavit that steps have been initiated to ensure that the amount is credited in the account of the applicant-petitioner within two weeks.
Having regard to the fact that the amount payable to the applicant-petitioner stands duly sanctioned and the assurance given in para 7 of the affidavit that the amount would be credited to his account within two weeks, this Court discharges the notices issued to the opposite parties.
The contempt application is consigned to record.
