Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Abhinav Prasad, learned A.G.A. for the State.

Present application has been filed seeking a suitable direction to the court below to decide the Case No. 2419 of 2018 State Vs. Mohammad Tariq Khan and others, Case Crime No. 83/2018, under sections 498-A, 323 IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Rampur pending in the court of Civil Judge (Junior Division), Fast Track Court No. 6, Rampur, expeditiously, preferably within the time stipulated by this Court.

After hearing the learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. and after perusing the material on record, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending which is finally disposed off with a direction to the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Fast Track Court No. 6, Rampur to consider and conclude the Case No. 2419 of 2018 State Vs. Mohammad Tariq Khan and others, Case Crime No. 83/2018, under sections 498-A, 323 IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Rampur, most expeditiously, if already not decided, strictly in accordance with law, after hearing the parties and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either the parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him, provided the proceedings are not stayed by any Court of law.
