The only prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing a direction to the court below to decide Land Acquisition Reference No.1 of 2000 under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act expeditiously.
The petitioner had earlier filed Writ Petition No.1734 of 2009 for the same relief, which was disposed of on 20.1.2009 by directing the court to decide it within six months.
Counsel for the petitioner admits that the land acquisition reference now stands transferred to the Tribunal vide order dated 4.4.2019. It is for the petitioner to bring the order of the Writ Court to the notice of the Tribunal to which the case has been transferred and in which event, the Tribunal shall ensure compliance of the said order in its true spirit.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
