The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.15 of 1997 expeditiously.
It appears that issues were framed in the suit on 7.5.2019 and thereafter the court fixed date for disposal of issue No.6 as a preliminary issue.
Having regard to the fact that the suit is pending since the year 1997, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments, provided there is no legal impediment.
