The sole relief pressed for by learned counsel for the petitioner at the time of hearing for the writ petition is that the application 28 October 2017 submitted before the before the District Magistrate, Saharanpur regarding operation of the mid-day meal account may be decided.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent nos. 1 and 2 and Shri Santosh Kumar has put an appearance on behalf of respondent nos. 3 and 4 state that a decision shall be decided at an early date on the application filed by the petitioner.
This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate to take a decision on the application filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioner after hearing the parties concerned.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the matter and it will be for the District Magistrate to take a decision in accordance with law.
