This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief:

(a) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner pending before him since 28.03.2012 in respect of Gata No. 160 recorded as "TALAB" in the revenue record situate at village Mahuaa, Tehsil Bansi, District Siddharth Nagar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh representation before the concerned authority in respect of his grievances with a direction to the concerned authority to decide the same within the stipulated period .

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent no.1- Collector, Siddharth Nagar ventilating his grievances within two weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and its entire Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavours to consider and decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law.
