This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following reliefs:

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the concern respondent authority to discontinued the electricity connection of the petitioner, whereby failure boring certificate dated 08.06.2017 issued by Executive Engineer (Minor Irrigation), Vikas Khand, Kannau, District Kannauj.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus direct the concern respondent authority to decide the grievance of the petitioner, application dated 12.07.2018, which is pending before the concern respondent authority. "

Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer only to the extent that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh representation before the concerned authority in respect of his grievances with a direction to the concerned authority to decide the same within the stipulated period .

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally

disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent no.2- Executive Engineer, Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Agra Division, Kannauj ventilating his grievances within three weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and its entire Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavours to consider and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of the said representation.
