This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following reliefs;

"1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents concerned to comply the explanation report dated 28.12.2017 sent by the Block Development Officer,TehsilSafai, District-Etawah (respondent no. 4) to the Chief Development Officer (respondent No. 5).

2. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents concerned to provide the benefits of residential houses to the petitioners under scheme of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Avas Yojana within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the even though the petitioners are entitled for getting residential houses under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Avas Yojana but they are being deprived of the same and the residential houses are not being provided to them. He further submitted that the Block Development Officer, Respondent No. 4 as well as Chief Development Officer, Respondent No. 5 have also admitted the entitlement of the petitioners for the said houses under the said scheme but still the benefit of said government scheme is not being extended to them.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Be that as it may, it is open for the petitioners to make a fresh representation before the Respondent No. 3, District Magistrate, Etawah ventilating their grievances within two weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and its entire Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavours to consider and decide the same in

accordance with law expeditiously preferably within three months from the date of receipt of the said representation.

With this observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
